Is this system free?

Yes, this site is completely free! We are supported by advertising.

How do I sign up?

Click on the link " Register", Fill out the registration page and then Login in with your new UserName and Password.

I forgot my password. What do I do?

Click on the link called "Login; and then click on "Forgot your password?" Type in your "UserName" and click Submit and your new password will be sent to the email address you signed up with.

Do you allow limit orders and trailing stops?

No, our system does not handle advanced stock orders such as limits or stops, but we hope to add that in the next few months.

How long can I use my account?

You may use your account for as long as you like! However, if you do not log in at least every 6 months we may delete your account.

How do I reset my account?

Contact Us. Otherwise sell all stock and start again.

Does the system use real stock quotes?

Yes, all of the quotes are real and are delayed 15-20 minutes. Real-time qulotes coming soon!

Is there any real cash involved?

While trading you only use virtual cash. However there are cash prizes if you do well.

What time are the markets open?

The markets are normally open 9:30am-4pm Eastern Time Monday-Friday, except on market holidays.

Can I trade after the market closes?

Yes, you may do virtual trading any time of day or night. We use the stock's last price for your trade executions.

Do you have options trading on your system?

No we do not right now but we plan on having that in the future.

How many portfolios can I have?

As many as you like.

Do you have a special section for students and teachers?

No but we plan on adding that later this year.

How do I change my password?

First log into your account and then click on Edit My Account. You may save a new password there.

How do I log out?

Click on the Log Out, which can be seen in the top red banner.

What if my stock changes symbols?

We will update your stock's symbol automatically within a couple days of the change.

How does this system handle dividends?

Dividends are not handled automatically, so you may need to Contact Us if you think you should have received a dividend. It will show up in your Trading History.

Can I practice trading on margin?

No, our system does not allow margin, but we may add that in the future.

Does my account accrue interest?

No, our system does not support interest right now.

How close to real trading is your virtual stock exchange?

It is very similar but there are some important differences. For example, our system allows you to trade any time but the real markets are only open at certain times. We also allow you to buy unlimited shares of any stock at the Last Price but in real life the shares are limited and you are not guaranteed any certain price.
